Due to our last visit here the group decided that they would be concentrating on three specific areas for this vigil, the Gatehouse/Keep Tower, the remains of habitation to the right of the Motte and the Graveyard of the nearby Church. All three of these locations have provided some interesting findings in the past.

The group were loaded up with the usual equipment, and one or two new items, as well as back up torches...we all what happened last time! Once again it was that time again to get going. Unfortunately many areas of the site had fallen victim to the earlier rain, so conditions were very slippery and too dangerous to put our members or guests at risk, so one of our destinations for the evening had to be left off the schedule...shame.

The group gathered around the motte area like last time to see if the "chinking" noises would be heard again. Not this time round though. A shame as there really was no clear explanation on our last visit as to what these were. A little disappointed as light was beginning to fade we moved on.

Some interesting EVP's were captured on Dictaphones around the site, however as these files were being transferred, we had a technical fault and lost them.....some days it just aint your lucky day is it? But being paranormal investigators you seem to come to expect these sort of things. The churchyard area of the site had some very interesting goings on last time round, so toward the end of the night the group decided to se what if anything would happen this time round, apart from some EMF readings which were very erratic at times, especially around the headstones (odd as you wouldn't expect any electricity or cable networks under there) there wasn't really much else to report form the site this time around. Another visit here though is a must, we wont give up!

Thanks again to the small group of SPRG members who braved the weather conditions (again!) we shall return!
