The group were contacted earlier in the month about coming to this location. When we heard of the goings on it was decided that we needed to get involved as soon as possible as the residents were having a particularly tough time and their children were becoming upset. We were very grateful to Samantha and Matt for welcoming us into their home and sharing their experiences. Their eldest daughter who is very young, kept asking why a man is laying on the kitchen floor and why the man stands in her room, this was causing restless nights for her as well as Mum and Dad. The young girl now sleeps in her parents room as she cannot even face going into her own room. Objects have been thrown in the kitchen area, and Sam and Matt both feel that they are followed or being watched at times. From the walk around Angie felt very on edge as did Lorraine S, Clint D felt that the stairs were of some significance, and that a female had a accident, fell, and never really recovered before sadly passing away. This was later clarified. We decided to setup a camera in the kitchen, one facing up the stairs, and another in the little girls room to cover the corner and doorway where the man is supposed to be seen. Once we had conducted our opening prayer it was time to se what we could find. Clint D and Angie took the kitchen area, Clint S, Lorraine S, Helen, Ed and Amy covered the child's room and Craig kept an eye on the monitors, just as we got started Angie held Matt's hand as she wanted to clear something up, immediately Angie became emotional and made a connection, Matt had served in the army, and seen some terrible atrocities and the spirit in the house seemed to be channelling himself through Matt, living it's past life through him, mirroring him. Angie saw what Matt had to deal with and she could then see why he had suffered on a personal level for a while. Matt then joined the group upstairs as Samantha joined the group in the kitchen.

Angie felt her throat tighten and couldn't think why, she then picked up on a man, very tall, and had big feet. Once again a war connection was picked up on. Clint D picked up on pebbles, and a gravel path leading to a pub Angie then connected with this to clarify. This pub was located near a beach. Angie then experienced some discomfort with chest pains. Ben then picked up on a gun this was later clarified when the residents before were keen clay pigeon shooters. The pains and discomfort Angie was experiencing was due to the fact that the male of the house had a stroke and died on the kitchen floor, eerily enough, was this what the little girl in the house was seeing before her own eyes? Craig was picking up lots of orbs in the kitchen and going up the stairs on the monitors at this point. The group upstairs had a particularly uneasy hour in the child's room, Lorraine S had feelings of nausea and movement was heard around the landing and stair areas, also some of the information Lorraine S was picking up on was almost the same as what Angie, Clint D and Ben had experienced downstairs.

We broke for refreshments and reflected on what was an interesting first vigil, Samantha and Matt were very interested also in hearing what we had experienced and again were clarifying what we had experienced. Soon enough it was time to switch rooms. Lorraine S's group in the kitchen and Clint D and Angie upstairs in the little girls room. Lorraine S again experienced similar feelings to what Angie had experienced in the kitchen, practically in the same spot, again a wartime, military connection was made. In the little girls room Angie felt a dry mouth and throat sensation and then the EMF meter was used to see if we could find any unnatural energy sauces. Strangely enough an extremely high reading was coming from some of the stuffed toys in the corner of the room, it was a particular toy, an Eeyore, that was sending the meter off the scale, the label on the toy was checked, it contained no metal or electrics, so why was it giving off such a high reading? The area was thoroughly checked for power points pipes etc... but no evidence of anything else setting it off. Could this be residual energy on the toy? another high flux was picked up around Angie and then it faded. We suggested to have a look in the parents room, an uneasy feeling in the room was picked up almost instantly by everyone in the room, Clint D ran the EMF meter across the spare bed, in which now Sam and Matt's young daughter now sleeps, however the meter again went off the scale and picked up a high EMF reading, this seemed to upset Samantha, and even more so when a similar reading was produced around the cot in their room of their little baby boy, it would seem that whatever they have in their home is attaching itself to the children, and Matt. It was decided that a full clearance would be needed at the end of the night.

After a well deserved break the group conducted a mini séance going from Matt and Sam's room across the landing into the little girls room, the house did seem to take on a somewhat calm feel to it around this time, there were still reading coming form the hotspots from the previous vigil, but not as erratic, although the cuddly Eeyore was still giving off a high reading. Angie and Lorraine S felt that the couple who still spiritually reside there, are living around the children, and that the man doesn't like the children but the lady does. Which is strange as the little girl has said that to her Mum and Dad a number of times! As the night pressed on into the early hours, we felt we had taken the investigation side of things as far as we could have done, it was time to close down and clear the house.
