For a while now Liz, one of our sensitive's, had always told us about her house and the eerie goings on since her and her husband had lived there and their children certainly had seen and experienced their fair share of spooky goings on. Cold spots were noted around the house, the children has seen dark figures on the landing, and faces in their bedrooms. Although the "most haunted" area of the house seemed to be the bedroom of Liz's younger girls, who had experienced some very sleepless nights indeed. So, in we went. After a caffeine hit we began to set up and other members took to walking the house to see what we could pick up. The house itself isn't that old, you could probably say that it is an estate that would have gone up post WW2. Certain areas felt warm and welcoming but as mentioned it seemed to be the upstairs that felt most unpleasant. Now bearing in mind that the house was warm and snug, there was an extremely cold spot on the landing upstairs, ironically around the younger girls room. Clint D and Clint S accompanied by Garry went in to check out the room. This room was a goose bump inducing hotbed and Clint S's EMF meter went bonkers. A quick exit, and hopefully an eventful return later.

By the time the ever expanding equipment was setup, it was time to roll. Also Liz's husband seemed very keen to get in on the action. With Liz kicking of the opening prayer we were ready. Angie, Lorraine and April took the girls room, Adel, Clint D and Garry took the boys room where figures and faces had been seen. Liz, Clint S, Ben took the lounge while Craig was in charge of monitor duty. We had already got orbs on camera before we even started recording would we have more? A few noises were heard downstairs in the lounge, however the group remained logical as to what they could be, The group in the boys room didn't seem to get anything in there. Clint D saw an image of a face which eerily was an accurate representation of what one of Liz's sons had seen when he was younger. The activity though seemed to be coming form the girls room. Angie could sense the prescience of a small girl with the name Jane who seemed to be between 6-8 years old. Angie felt immense pressure around her eyes and head, so did April. Orbs were captured on film that seemed to be manifesting form the ground upwards and around Angie. Angie then felt as if she was "kicked" softly in the back. The temperature then began to plummet from 21C-16C. Angie began to describe that the girl was covering her face and seemed to have blood on one side of her face, the side she was covering. This experience left Angie very drained and exhausted. Fascinating stuff. Time for a break and to set up the séance.

A few anomalies seen around April during a break.

The séance seemed to provide us with some interesting facts as once again our glass technique seemed to do the business again. We seemed to get a man that gave us the date 1357, who was 63 years of age and stated that he was a monk. Chances are he may have resided around the area before the estate was built. Angie seemed to think that he was a guardian of the children in his life, and this life, guarding Liz's children. That would probably explain the hooded dark figures that the children have seen over time. Angie seemed to think that some of these children that were being protected may have had the plague. Angie then began to see a tall thin man with a pointy beard called "Richard" this man seemed to strike an uncanny resemblance to a picture in a book that Liz had, whether "Richard" has any relevance to this man is yet to be confirmed. Angie then had an image of a train crash and the girl from the start of the night came back again clutching her face. Angie could not come up with any dates, but it turned out that a week or so after the investigation Liz had found out that there had been a train crash within the area, sadly no dates still.

After our post séance break. April and Adel took to monitor duty, Clint S. Clint D and Garry took the girls room, the rest of the group split between Liz's room, the boys room, the lounge and the hallway. Oddly the atmosphere in the girls room seemed to have calmed  down but again things seemed to happen wherever the females went. We concluded from this that if indeed this was the little girl, she would feel safe around females, mother figures or children. April began to feel sick at this point and her and Adel commented that they both felt a breeze across their faces, and "fidgety" noises around them and in the lounge, April then had to stand up as she couldn't explain her nausea and nearly had to make a dash for it, until her and Adel had noticed the back door had been opened wide up! Liz's husband had sworn blind that he had closed it firmly during the break. Interesting stuff. That seemed to be the last of the excitement for the night as people started to fade fast. There didnt seem to be anything scary here or evil. If Angie is correct and she usually is. It could be on or two spirits that are grounded here and are happy going about their business.
